Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a technique used to move and balance qi and blood flow in the body. In Chinese medicine it is said blockage of qi and Blood flow is the root of all disease. The acupuncturist utilizes sterile stainless steel needles to stimulate acupuncture points to improve the circulation of qi and Blood. The free flowing of qi/blood helps to facilitate optimum health.

cupping

Cupping helps muscles that are tight and  may be causing other pain/and or structural imbalances. The cups are placed on the skin and then suction is applied via a small pump. Sometimes the cups stay stationary on one area and sometimes they are moved up and down the back. The suction pressure provided by cupping can loosen muscles, encourage blood flow, and sedate the nervous system.
